Photography:
Below you will find a selection of some of my photographic work. Once a cherished past-time, I would no longer describe myself as a photographer. My interests are more tilted towards language learning, notwithstanding that I would enjoy picking up photography again as in my youth. I don't have enough time to well balance by time between photography, langugages, reading, and a social life, as such it has fallen to the side. I came to understand just how much I have fallen out of habit during my trip to Japan this past summer, many photos were taken with little regard for exposure, focus... Esentially much of it was unusable.
Despite a light dissatisfaction with my current competencies, I believe that I have produced a few interesting photographs. I only use film: especially 35mm and 120 (in 6x7 format). With regards to the type of film, I am the most experienced with black and white: in the past I had a darkroom at home and everything was developed and enlarged according to traditional techniques. Despite this, nowadays my favourite type of film is colour reversal. The majority of my black and white photos are direct scans of silver gelatin prints.
This page is above all else a selection, as compiling everything on Neocities is rather labourious. My flickr is more up to date. Please click on a photo to enlarge it.
